The funny thing is, that’s not how I remember the book at all
Line of Events
In the timeless town of Macondo, seven generations of the Buendía family experience love, oblivion, and the inevitability of their past and destiny. This is Netflix’s most expensive Latin American project yet, with Colombian groups and indigenous communities constructing props and sets for the series.
It all comes from a master of the genre
Sure, it was creepy, but then again, the author is very poetic in bringing up old curses and such..or tragic love, human nature.. Almost everything swept me away, not in the first episode, I was interested then, and I hope you let the alchemy/magic happen like I did.
I feel like rereading the novel, right now!
Let a cloak of deceit dress you in its fantastic story. It all comes back to history and memory, and how unreliable and entangled they are, and what we make of them.
Like some "Game of Thrones" fever
The difference is that I can’t read the original, only the translation. This is not Dickens and a Christmas story for children, but a fairy tale for adults.
Sad, but beautiful
And welcome to troubled political times. No need to waste time endlessly scrolling – here’s the full lineup of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
